Portraits

The painted portraits here are of some of my commissioned work.  I work from life and photographic reference.  To commission a portrait only using photographs, I normally ask for a few good quality photos of the person.  Sometimes this is the only option if the portrait is going to be a surprise.  I can also create a beautiful portrait from an old black and white photo.  Each commission is a unique and special process from first contact to delivery of your portrait.  I keep you informed every step of the way while work is in progress.
